When I was younger, I loved to draw!
Anything I could think of, I tried my best to draw.
I loved seeing my ideas come to life, but as soon as I got into HS and College, I was terribly burnt out.
I noticed that I didn't draw for fun anymore, and it had always felt like a chore. Art became something I had to do to get a grade, and so it stopped feeling as fun as it did back then.
When I was in college and about to graduate, I came to love art again. I loved creating characters again! And so, I kept looking for artists who could bring them to life. Which, in turn, has also inspired me to start drawing again and for that, I am very grateful!
Last year, I drew digitally for the first time.
I was able to make merch, design my own plush (which I also sold), and tabled at a big event.
I learned that it's never too late to fall in love with art again 🙂
