Learning animation in college is an exciting and challenging experience. I learned that writing a good story and designing characters were not in my skillset, however, I did enjoy the technical side such as doing the animation and compositing. I found myself enjoying the process of animation and seeing my effort come to life even if it was just for a few seconds. Although I enjoy animating, there are times when I experience burn out and losing the motivation to work. It is incredibly important to take breaks from time to time so that we can keep ourselves refreshed and inspired. Taking in criticism was also quite an overwhelming experience at first, but learning to take constructive feedback was essential for me to improve on my skills.
